James Stevens-Cox note and mock-up proofs of The Thomas Hardy yearbook, 1970.

The collection consists of an original mock-up of the Thomas Hardy year book, 1970, edited by Stevens-Cox and his brother, Gregory, and published by Toucan Press; the cardboard pages have clippings taped and pasted to them, with handwritten data added throughout; two holes have been punched to allow metal rings to bind the pages. The content includes excerpts, critiques, photographs, and other data relating to Thomas Hardy, his works, and his life. Includes a note from Stevens-Cox donating the mock-up, written on Toucan Press letterhead; the note identifies nos. 1 and 3, but the collection seems to consist only of no. 1.
